Kids Handbuilding Workshop: Make Your Own Sippy Cup
Slow down and get creative together ✨
In this beginner-friendly workshop, kids (with their grown-up!) will learn the basics of handbuilding and create their very own ceramic sippy cup from scratch.
No experience needed—just come ready to get a little messy and have fun.
Who It’s For
Designed for kids ages 6 and above, each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is a shared, hands-on experience perfect for bonding, play, and creativity.
What You’ll Do
- Learn simple handbuilding techniques
- Shape and assemble your own sippy cup
- Add textures, paint or add your personal touches
- Leave the rest to us—we’ll glaze and fire your piece
What You’ll Get
- 1 handmade ceramic sippy cup per child
- Fully glazed and kiln-fired piece
- Ready for pick-up in 2 to 3 months
Workshop Fee
Inclusive of all materials, tools, and firing
(1 child + 1 adult per slot)
⚠️ Before You Book
- This is a handbuilding class (no pottery wheel)
- Only 1 adult per child to keep the space comfortable
- Siblings may join with one adult, if manageable
- Please arrive on time—late arrivals may miss the demo
- Ceramics are handmade—minor imperfections are part of the charm

Final Piece, Firing, Breakage, Broken pieces
Ceramics can be quite unpredictable most especially for beginners! This means that once in a while, a piece might crack, warp, or not survive the firing process. If this happens, we’ll let you know, but please note that we do not offer refunds for pieces that don’t make it. Remember: you're not paying for a guaranteed final piece — you're paying for the experience, the joy of making, and the skills you’ll build during the workshop.
Be on time
Classes start right on schedule. We allow a 15-minute grace period, but this will be counted against your class time — so best to come a little early, get settled, and have a breather before we begin!
Please note we can’t reschedule no shows or last minute cancellations on the day of your actual schedule.
Running late?
Please send us a quick message if you’re on your way but running behind. We’ll try our best to offer options or move your schedule (depending on availability and rescheduling rules).
No-shows and cancellations
We don’t issue refunds for no-shows or cancellations, so please make sure you’re good to go before confirming your slot.
